About 5 months now and I use this mug daily! Even when I am home. Number 1, I don't pop quart canning jars anymore! It's stainless! I make sure to have a rolling boil before I pour it over my black tea. Number 2, wow what ranks number two, so many things! The handle is easy to grip and hold. The lip (I take the lid off to drink) is a thin rim, which personally is imperative. The tapered bottom, it seats securely in cupholders while driving. The huuuge opening to fit your whole hand in for ease of washing. Base, even tho tapered at the bottom, is secure enough to prevent tipping. HOT! I can fill it, put lid on, travel, and four hours later when I remove lid, my tea is still piping hot! Once I partially filled it with vanilla ice cream to go, hoping for it to melt deliciously and sip through a straw ... nope ... it kept the ice cream chilled til long after I was home. I love this 30oz Yeti Travel Mug in Bimini Pink (hot pink! no one touches it). I read the reviews and one suggested getting the larger size and I am grateful that I did! Finished tea is probably about 22 oz, leaving about 2-3" below the screw top ridge. One note to mention, I have removed the rubber seal on the lid. With my small hands, the lid would grip so tight that I was unable to open it. And even so, I still have to be mindful to just give it a small twist when I first pour boiling water, because I let it steep before adding cream. I don't need to worry whether it was leakproof, due to how I use it. If I didn't literally take this with me everywhere I go, as well as use it at home on weekends, I would buy another one! The $42.00 purchase price may seem steep at first, but having used it for 147 days in a row, the cost per day is 29cents as of today. OH I FORGOT TO SAY ease of cleaning! I have had sooo many travel mugs that I was unable to take apart daily in order to get under mechanisms due to the added cream. Often times tossing them out once they smell sour. I use the lid mainly to keep hot from point A to B, or while traveling. Even so, taking the magnet slide off and the bottom piece is a cinch, allowing everything to be easily washed and reassembled. Super fast! And if you feel you want to remove the staining, simple swipe with sos pad, or baking soda & vinegar ... voila! I love this mug!

Well if your goofy enough to spend the money on these things like i did it’s important to remember that it will last for a long time as long as you don’t lose it like i did my first one recently hmm. However before I lost it I dropped it from about five or so feet and it was filled w/ice coffee and despite it landing awkwardly on some rocks everything was fully intact and i lost no liquid so for that alone it’s nice and about worth it? i’m not so sure your not just paying for the name as i’ve used other cheaper drink-ware in the past that performed comparably at times? I guess it’ll boil down to personal preference. The Graphite color looks amazing however 4 stars due too price. Last comment; from some simple test cold did stay cold for a very long time and more-less the same with hot.

Yes, they are expensive, but oh! They are so nice. My lid doesn't leak although it took some time for me to become accustomed to pressing down before sliding to disengage the magnet. Now it's habit and no issue at all, and the magnet prevents so many spills! It keeps my drink cold for hours! I even put just chilled ice water in it at night without ice (I don't care for the taste of the ice) and it's still cool in the morning. Seriously the best insulated cup I've ever owned.

I have ALOT of mugs / temperature keeping cups, etc but can never seem to find one I want to walk around with. They are either too small, not easy to use , or didn’t keep the temperature. I must say this mug solves all those issues perfectly. It maintains temperature super well, it’s leak proof so I can do my drinks and shake it a bit if needed, it’s a screw top so won’t pop off , it’s big enough so I don’t need to keep refilling , it fits in cup holder. What else can I ask for? A dream cup all in one .

Yeti has apparently upgraded their tumblers: (1) install a fixed handle rather than those separate handles that never stay where they're supposed to and often fall off, (2) use a locking cam on the lid rather than just a friction fit with a gasket (keeps the lid on in the event of a spill), and (3) make the locking cam reversible for left or right hand use. Very significant and needed upgrades. We will buy more.

Second purchase, lost the magnetic slider top just because the one time I didn't have it strapped down at work and it fell off my machine on the highway. These travel mugs are durable AF, I've paved many of miles during record breaking heatwaves on top of 300 degrees of asphalt and my ice coffee stays Iced, sometimes same coffee lasts me 2 days because it still has ice in it. Con I hate the lids they are annoying to clean that rubber sleeve on lid is where your coffee cream will bake in sun and rot and smell like throw up, not the coffee in mug just what gets trapped in that stupid silicone sleeve. It's very difficult to get a good sip from lid for me without dribbling it all over me, I just bought a rubber straw I can squeeze in the lid and that made me happy. Nice durable travel mug, please redesign the lid.

I have been known for spilling coffee in my car. This has saved my life. Great for a nursing student who’s busy and messy. Wonderful product! Fell on the floor of my car and didn’t spill. I absolutely love it. I could carry it upside down and wouldn't leak. Worth the money.
