I purchased before but after 1 1/2 years leaked from the bottom. I ordered another and am pleased. Must say I take off the colored handle piece on cup when I put in dishwasher. It does stretch out. I have never had a problem falling over and spill. It does get discolored as white inside. I still love it and this one is purple

I was sitting at the kitchen table a few weeks ago when I realized that I only had three days' worth of disposable cups with lids in which I enjoy my morning coffee. I decided it would be cheaper and better for the world if I found the perfect reusable cup for coffee and tea. Enter Mr. Cuppie! Pros: 12-ounces is the perfect amount for my morning coffee or tea. So easy to clean and it's dishwasher and microwave safe. The moveable spout cover can be used effortlessly. There are no parts that will buildup with gunk. The style is cute and reminiscent of the cups you get at a coffee shop or purchase in stores. Keeps my coffee hot and fresh. Cons: Not really a con, but definitely worth mentioning that the lid doesn't lock onto the cup. So, I had to remind myself to not grab it by the lid, which isn't how I grab the store bought cups either. It's no big deal. Just worth mentioning. I want to order several Mr. Cuppies to replace the clutter of coffee mugs in our house. Thanks, Mr. Cuppie, for an awesome daily cup that fits comfortably in my hand and replaces expensive purchases of disposable cups. AMegahan 08.28.2020 UPDATE: Less than 2 months after this purchase, the coffee cup developed a leak around the seam. The leak was around the entire seam of the cup. I contacted the company, provided them photographs of the leak, and received a replacement cup within the week. AMAZING CUSTOMER SERVICE. This past week, the replacement cup failed in the same spot, except this time the top part at the seam broke cleanly off the bottom part--a clean break from the bottom part of the cup, so clean that I was in disbelief for several seconds. :( I was devastated and perplexed at the way the piece broke off. I took pictures and sent them and an email to the company about the product's failure. Of course, I was asked for details of how I used the cup (blame-shifting? I gave the benefit of doubt ). The cup is used for a morning coffee, dishwashed daily and placed on countertop for the next day's use. I've never dropped the cup or frozen it or anything outside of normal daily coffee-drinking use. I really wanted to love this coffee cup, and during the time I had the two cups I DID love them. However, I think there is some type of design flaw in that upper ring that is attached at the seam of the cup. I decided not to request a 3rd replacement because I didn't have the faith that it would be any different. So, I am changing my rating from 5 stars to 3 stars due to these product failures. HOWEVER, Mr. Cuppie is incredibly responsive to its customers and I have no doubt they would have promptly sent another replacement had I wanted one. I'm going to stick to good ol' fashioned coffee cups.

Nice little cup but definitely over priced. Biggest complaint is that because of it's size, (relatively short), when placed in most cup holders, the only way to pick it up is by the top and guess what happens? The top comes off and you usually end up with spilled coffee. Not fun when you're driving. It should have a screw on top and yes, there are cups with screw on tops that work well. I happen to have one, it's the Joseph Sipp™ Travel Coffee Mug with Flip-top Cap - 340 ml (12 fl. oz). It's not insulated but I like it much better.

I bought two of these cups in different colors so that I can easily distinguish which one I use for herbal tea and which one I use for coffee. The main drawback to these cups is that the silicone sleeve doesn't protect your hand from heat as much as you might be used to if you normally use cardboard sleeves. I am not sure what they could do to improve upon the heat protection, but I would be interested in the next generation of this cup if there is improvement in that department. The other thing I would note is that it might be a good idea to pull the silicone sleeve fully off for washing every so often if you are rinsing the cup frequently and water is getting just a little bit trapped under the silicone sleeve. I have not had any mildew issues so far, which I am very happy about! I also feel confident in my ability to fully clean these cups. Sometimes, certain plastic items will hold on to smells. This is why I am so careful to put coffee in a segregated cup, because I am the only person at home and at work who drinks it, and because I put cream in it. I don't ever want to have a spoiled milk smell hanging in my cup, and I like how easy it is to wash these. The more I get used to using these cups as my mainstays, the more those reusable cup worries are becoming a thing of the past. All in all, I wanted cups that could withstand heat without melting plastic into my tea, and these fit the bill. I have even been able to walk home from work with two of these cups full, and I didn't spill anything on myself the whole way. This is a big deal for me because I am usually carrying a backpack, a large tote, one or two hot beverages, and I'm using my right hand to hold hands with my son. These lids do not screw closed, however, if you are careful to hold the cup upright, they don't get loose or leak at all. I used my left hand to hold these against my chest, and I was even wearing a light colored sweater. No spillage, and the ambient warmth from my tea and coffee was actually very pleasant. tldr; the cups work

We bought this cup for my grandson's "big boy" hot chocolate cup. We love it so much that we bought one to have in our camper. This cup is microwaveable. That is what we were looking for. There are a lot of great metal cups out there but not many of this quality that you can heat in the microwave.

This cup has been great for a little over a year but then just recently started leaking when I put my coffee in it. So it's pretty much unusable at this point. Kind of sucks because it has been my go to cup practically every day. Might not be a common issue and maybe mine was just defective or something. Don't know that I'd buy another one.
