It works great. Keeps my coffee hot while I walk the dog or drive to work. Fits in the cup holder. And the color and finish are stunning. I know which one is MY CUP from across a room. It's the sexiest mug in the place...next to my own, of course... :) The lip is comfortable to drink from, not too sharp. The lid screws in securely and does not leak. And to sip from it with the lid on is nice...no dribbling down my chin. The mug is pretty light and fits about 4 x 6oz cups of coffee (or...and I'm in US where we don't understand metric...about 80000 milliliters...wait, Google says: 709ml.) So far I haven't dropped it, so I don't know how well it will take a kiss from concrete, but trust me, that will happen. My only complaint...and I wish I could just take away 1/2 star...I just wish the handle was a little bigger so I could fit my pinkie inside with my other fat fingers. But as Meatloaf said, 3 outta 4 ain't bad. Wait, Meatloaf was Canadian so in metric that's 2 outta 3...wait, correction, Google says Meatloaf is American. I will update this review should I find the Iron Flask's durability or longevity are lacking. But so far, so good. I thank you for reading this review to the end, and hope you found it helpful...or a bit amusing...or both.

I love the size and overall look of this Iron Flask mug. I feel like it’s an accessory, in addition to something I use daily for my morning coffee. Its light weight, and the handle is very important, as when I’m trying to get my purse, work bag, lunch, and coffee into the building in the morning, I’ve spilt my coffee quite a few times. With this mug, I can literally loop the handle onto a free finger while I did through my purse for my keys. I took off 1 star because I ran it through the dishwasher (top rack) one time and I noticed a few missing paint spots. They may have been there prior to washing (I didn’t check.) but my concern is that over time, the chipped paint may spread and ruin this gorgeous mug. I will update if anything, or nothing, happens. *Review completed as part of the Amazon Vine program. All opinions and product ratings are 100% truthful, and my own. Listen, this coffee cup isn’t going to change your life... but it is a solid, well made option that will keep your coffee warm quite a bit longer than a regular mug. I was impressed with how sturdy/heavy it feels in the hand, and I love how it looks. Overall I would definitely buy again, it’s a good value for the money.

I really like this coffee mug. It holds a lot of coffee, and keeps it hot until the last sip. It looks great, the dark blue ombre finish is beautiful. It is a bit tall and narrow, and easy to knock over if you aren't careful. The base has some pretty grippy silicone on the bottom, so the cup doesn't slide if you bump it, it falls over. Luckily when this happened to me, the cup was empty. The one thing I don't like about the cup is the lid. It's a screw on, made for right handed people. So if you want to drink with your left hand, you're out of luck. When I'm working, the mouse is in my right hand. I typically keep my coffee cup on my left while I'm working. So this is a weekend only cup. ***Update***I figured out that you can screw the lid on to drink from your left or right hand. Used it today and it kept coffee at a decently warm temp for close to two hours.

Disclaimer: I received this item at no-cost through Amazon Vine in exchange for an unbiased and fair review of the product listed. I have several stupid and unintentional collections, and each time I add to it, the wife no longer asks - she just gives me "the look." Sometimes I just sneak things in and hope for the best, because it's not the look of anger, it's just the "not angry, just disappointed" variety. Travel coffee mugs? One of those collections. I've got several from brands such as Yeti and Kodi, as well as some of the strangely named brands from right here off of Amazon. They're all nice, but there's always this ratio of capacity, size (will it fit in the cupholder?), and finish (stainless steel? Powder coat?). This one scores high on all three marks, plus it has a handle on the side, which I wasn't sure if I'd like or not, but decades of drinking coffee from out of the mug meant that the muscle memory basically took over without my really even having been aware of it. I chose the "Fire" finish (because it reminded me of the classic "Tequila Sunrise" uniforms of the Houston Astros, and the 24 oz mug because ... more coffee > less coffee. It keeps the temp hot for several hours. This is an excellent mug, and one that I anticipate using for years to come!

This is actually my second Iron Flask brand beverage container; I have the smaller 12oz version in gunmetal gray which has been my go-to coffee mug for bringing coffee with me to work for almost a year. I picked up this new, larger version since I figured I'd love it just as much but I needed more capacity. No surprise, this new container is even better than the original. It keeps my coffee hot for about 4 hours and cold beverages stay cooler even longer. I actually had some ice water in it and left it in my car for 3 hours. When I retrieved it, I was pretty surprised to find there was still ice inside and the water was nice and cold. This does everything as advertised and more. There is actually a built-in rubber coaster on the bottom so it doesn't clang every time you set it down on a table. It's nice and silent. This is my new favorite mug.
